Onboarding

Your start with us

We are happy to ensure that you have the best possible start with us in the TÜV NORD family. In addition to general onboarding measures, you will take part in one of our regular onboarding events. Here you will gain authentic insights into current developments in our company and will be able to set new, innovative impulses for our common future in exciting discussions. Take advantage of this opportunity for professional exchange and network with colleagues from other departments.

Depending on your position with us, your onboarding process will differ from that of your colleagues. The following will give you a good overview of what you can expect in your first year with us.

The first weeks

In the first few weeks, everything is still very new for you - time to get to know each other. During a guided tour of the location, you will get to know your new working environment and some of your colleagues. Your manager will provide you with relevant documents, such as an induction plan to help you get your bearings for the first few weeks and other useful information. This is also what you can expect in your first few weeks:

  • a professional introduction by your manager
  • the setup of your workplace
  • getting to know your working environment
  • initial conversations with your new colleagues, e.g. over coffee or tea
  • First important briefings for your projects
  • first tasks

  • Meetings and business appointments
  • Feedback meetings with your manager
  • Training courses and seminars
  • First projects or customers to be managed independently
  • A personal interview at the end of your probationary period
  • An annual orientation meeting on your prospects and development opportunities
