Vocational training as an office management assistant offers exciting and varied prospects for organizational talents. In this practice-oriented apprenticeship, you will learn everything you need to efficiently manage offices and companies - from planning and coordinating work processes to communicating with customers and partners. The apprenticeship opens up a wide range of career opportunities in various departments.
As part of your vocational training as a building materials tester, you will take on a wide range of testing tasks and carry out tests on building materials and soil samples. You will actively support engineers in construction projects, from planning to implementation, and ensure that all materials meet the highest standards. Using state-of-the-art testing equipment and analysis techniques, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of geotechnics and work in various areas such as surveying, geology and mining.
A wide variety of tasks await you during your vocational training as an industrial mechanic. You will manufacture workpieces, assemble components into functional systems and plan work processes. You will learn how to use modern machine tools, carry out metalworking activities such as drilling, milling and turning and be familiar with control technology. You will also take on maintenance and repair tasks and use CNC technology. A varied field of activity with exciting insights into production technology!
During your vocational training as a geomatics technician, you can expect a wide variety of tasks such as collecting, processing and visualizing geodata. You will work with modern, future-oriented measuring equipment and methods and will be involved in exciting projects such as special surveys for major projects and long-term monitoring. You will also gain an insight into quality assurance and learn about the processes involved in surveying and geodata management. A practice-oriented introduction to the world of geoinformation!
As part of the practice-integrated dual study program in electrical engineering, in cooperation with the Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (HAW), the Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal or the Hochschule Bremen, you have the opportunity to complete the practical part at TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG. During your studies, you will be introduced to various technical and administrative areas, with a focus on testing and consulting technical systems in areas such as systems engineering, electrical/control engineering, conveyor technology, explosion protection, functional safety and IT/OT security. You will work in a team across locations and gain extensive practical experience.
In the dual study program in mechanical engineering, you have the opportunity to complete the practical part at TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG, in cooperation with one of the following universities: Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (HAW), Hochschule Stralsund or Hochschule Ruhr West in Mülheim. Your practical focus will be on testing technical systems, such as pressure systems, materials technology and tank systems. You will work across locations and get to know all relevant technical and administrative areas.
As a vocational trainee IT specialist for application development, you will actively participate in the realization of customer-specific information and communication solutions and develop software solutions in the field of mechanical/electrical engineering. You will take responsibility for all steps of the development process - from specification, implementation and testing to documentation and user training. You will also advise internal and external users, create system documentation and conduct training courses.
You can expect a varied vocational training in the field of information technology, with insights into various IT departments such as Data Center, Administration, Client Management and Communication. The training takes place entirely in-house and you will work in a modern, internationally certified data center.
In the dual online Bachelor of Science program (7 semesters), you will complete practice-oriented phases with up to 30 hours/week in our company and study online at the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics & Management (locations include Essen and Berlin). You can choose between the Cyber Security or Cyber Security Management degree programs and benefit from live digital studies. The course combines theory and practice and prepares you optimally for a career in IT security.
In the dual study program in Business Informatics or Computer Science (36 months), your training will follow the study and training plan of the Fachhochschule für die Wirtschaft (FHDW) Hannover. The course alternates between theoretical phases (12 weeks) and practice-oriented practical phases (12-16 weeks) in the company. You will be optimally prepared for the requirements of the digital economy and develop both technical and business skills.
