Neue TÜV NORD Markenwelt mit dem Red Dot Design Award 2023 ausgezeichnet

Unternehmen: International renommierte Jury lobt Marken-Neuausrichtung des technischen Dienstleistungskonzerns.

Strong design for a strong Group. The new logos and the clear design of the TÜV NORD brands receive the Red Dot Design Award in the ‘Corporate Design’ category. The internationally renowned jury thus honours the realignment of the technical services group's brands. In autumn 2022, the company launched the realignment of its four core brands and corporate design.

The award-winning brand idea

The fresh brand design points the way to the future. The global rebranding of the TÜV NORD GROUP with its four core brands TÜV NORD, DMT, TÜVIT and ALTER was initially implemented in the Group's digital channels and will gradually become visible at all physical contact points. At the same time, the 30 different Group-wide logos have been reduced to the core brands with a few exceptions. ‘With the simplified brand architecture, we are now creating a standardised brand experience across all activities. Our global customers immediately recognise that they are with TÜV NORD,’ says Sandra Hüsig, Head of Corporate Brand Management. In addition to a uniform design system with the central ‘Electric Blue’ and the new corporate typeface ‘TNG Pro’, the design focuses on the digital use of the brand world: ‘This emphasises the orientation of our company as an innovative, digital player that creates trust in new technologies.’ The new claim ‘Inspired by knowledge’ supports the positioning of the TÜV NORD GROUP as a knowledge company.

Positive response from customers

‘As a company with over 150 years of history, we are particularly proud of this award,’ continued Sandra Hüsig. ‘I would like to thank the Hamburg designer Michael Grübbeling and our brand agency Total Design from the Netherlands for their great support.’ All business units contributed to this success. Work on the project took a total of two years and involved German and international customer groups. ‘The new brand identity has been enthusiastically received by our customers. Winning one of the most prestigious awards in the communications industry is further confirmation of this recognition. I would like to thank all my colleagues who have contributed to the realisation of the new brand design.’
