From 1st September 2014 IMC Group Consulting Ltd. (IMC GCL), the British subsidiary of DMT, will trade under the name “DMT Consulting Ltd”. Likewise as of 01.09.2014 the Essen based subsidiary IMC Montan Consulting GmbH will be renamed "DMT Consulting GmbH". Together with other companies in the DMT group, including their Indian sister "DMT Consulting Private Limited" which changed its name from IMC-SRG Consulting Private Limited at the end of July, they form DMT's "International Mining Consulting" division.
"In recent years the DMT group has expanded at international level" explains Prof. Dr. Eiko Räkers, CEO at DMT. "We feel the renaming is a necessary step to ensure that our customers recognise us as a group and to maintain a consistent image as part of our one-brand strategy".
DMT's mining consulting sector in particular has seen significant growth in the past years due to the takeover or establishment of new subsidiaries, for example in Indonesia, South Africa, Russia, Canada and Peru.
"DMT trades worldwide in its key fields of Mining, Oil/Gas, Civil Engineering/Infrastructure and Plant and Process Engineering and will continue to enhance its business operations in these areas", says Räkers.
