With a view to assist SMEs to meet food safety requirements, TUV India Pvt. Ltd. has undertaken a project under a development partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This program is implemented in the framework of the PPP.de initiative and is co-funded by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The main objective of the project is to improve Food Safety Hygiene and Product Quality in the Indian Food Processing Sector.
The Indian Food Processing industries, especially SMEs, are facing stiff challenges to meet global food safety standards including Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSA).
GIZ is partnering with TUV India Pvt. Ltd. to execute this project.
