On January 3, 2019, The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) announced new regulations with respect to food packaging. The Food Safety and Standards (Packaging) Regulations, 2018 replace the packaging provisions of the Food Safety and Standards (Packaging and Labelling) Regulations, 2011. New labelling regulations have been published separately. Food businesses had only until July 1, 2019 to comply with the new regulations and these are now already in effect.
We are honoured to have the presence of eminent personalities like Dr.Kamath and Dr.Methekar of FSSAI who would be arriving all the way from Mumbai only to address this elite gathering. We are also pleased to have an expert speakers like Mr.Atin Chaudhari (Member of BIS Expert Committee & DGM- Corporate Technical Services at Huhtamaki PPL Ltd.) who would be conducting a session during this seminar.
