TUV India-part of TÜV NORD GROUP hosted Road Show in association with BRC Global Standard (BRCGS), a leading brand and consumer protection organisation on 22nd may 2019 at our Food Testing Laboratory, Pune for key customers, consultants & prospective clientele.
Mr. Tarang Koppal, Vice President, Food Testing Services & Mrs. Asha Shridhar, Deputy General Manager, Food Safety presented about various food certifications and testing services offered by TUV India.
Mr. Benz Thomas, Regional Head – SAARC at BRCGS was the key speaker for the event. He spoke about the BRCGS standards explaining the why-and-how of the certification outlining the major non-conformances faced by Indian organizations for acquiring the certification and also emphasized on the benefits enjoyed by the certified entities. One of our customers Mr. S. D. Patil from Jain Farm Fresh Foods Limited which is also BRCGS certified company shared his insights on the roadmap for smooth BRCGS certification process.
The event was a great success with enthusiastic participation from different food industries like agri produce processing industry, food manufacturers, spices manufacturers, confectionary industries, Meat industries, Ice-cream & dairy industries uniting vivaciously for the initiative.
The program concluded with a tour to TUV India’s state of art Food Laboratory in Pune.
