TUV India is pleased to announce approval by the Export Inspection Council (EIC) for biological and chemical testing of food products. Recognition by EIC is a prestigious accomplishment for TUV India Food Laboratory.
EIC is an apex body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, which provides for comprehensive development of export trade through quality control and pre-shipment inspection. It is responsible for notifying minimum standards for exports, international standards or standards of the importing countries and to set up suitable machinery for inspection and quality control. It is assisted in its functions by the Export Inspection Agencies (EIAs) through a network sub-offices and laboratories to back up the pre-shipment inspection and certification activities.

TUV India has set up a state-of-the-art testing laboratory in Pune offering a wide spectrum of comprehensive high-end analytical services, accredited by NABL as per ISO/ IEC 17025:2005.
