TUV India food testing laboratory organized a two-hour online awareness session on the topic “SFDA regulations for fresh fruits and vegetables, agricultural crop and spices export from India” on June 14th, 2021 and was attended by around 150 participants consisting of major exporters and related stakeholders.
The session was conducted proactively by TUV India to provide awareness to interested stakeholders regarding the new testing requirements for fresh fruits and vegetables as per a SFDA notice which is currently in force starting June 15th 2021. It highlighted the testing capabilities of our SFDA approved food testing laboratory and testing mandates along with CoC requirements for exports of food products to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The panelists for the session were experts from TUV India food laboratory team along with guest speakers from Saudi Arabia. Our guest speakers spoke in brief about the CoC issuance process and SFDA regulations for testing. The session was an excellent platform for regulatory, testing and CoC experts to come together with clients and exchange useful information and experiences for better understanding of the challenges and process.
Team TUV India is planning to conduct similar sessions for our customers and relevant stakeholders frequently in near future.
