TUV India successfully conducted webinar and panel discussion on topic “Understanding Shelf life of Foods”

TUV India food testing laboratory team successfully conducted a 3-hour webinar and panel discussion on topic “Understanding Shelf life of Foods” on November 17th, 2021.

This webinar was one of its kind, as apart from the conventional one speaker approach, we invited experts from the industry and academia for a panel discussion.

With almost 100 participants consisting of food industry professionals and students, the webinar covered concepts on shelf life of foods and our speaker Dr.Poonam Dayaram, heading our innovative vertical FIRST (Food Innovation, Research and Support Team) covered in brief the science and research to design shelf life studies for various food products.

The panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Tarang Koppal-Vice President Food Testing Services. The panelists were asked to share their expertise and insight on the trend the Indian food industry has undergone over the years with regards to understanding shelf life. The discussion with the panelists and their insights during the question and answer session further sparked the interests of the participants on the topic. We have received positive feedback from participants for same and it makes us very happy to see that young students have asked us to conduct more such sessions as they found it very helpful.
