We are elated to announce that Mr Manish Bhuptani, Managing Director, TUV India Pvt Ltd who was currently holding the position of Dy. Chairman at Process Plant & Machinery Association of India (PPMAI) got elected unanimously as new Chairman. PPMAI works towards realising the vision of Indian Process Plant & Machinery industry of becoming preferred suppliers of systems, equipment and services to global process industry. It represents Process Plant & Machinery industry as one strong, credible voice when it comes to policy advocacy.
The association successfully conducted its 57th Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 21st October 2021 at L&T premises, Powai, Mumbai. Mr. Anil Parab, Senior Vice President, Head Heavy Engg, L&T who headed the association as Chairman for last two years extended a warm welcome to all the participants and expressed his gratitude towards all the Board members, members of reputed industries along with various ministries / government bodies for their support and co-operation during his tenure as Chairman.
During the meeting, Mr. Manish Bhuptani, Managing Director, TUV India was proposed as new Chairman of the board and was unanimously elected by all the members. Mr Mr. Abhijit Dani, Vice President – Critical Process Equipment & Systems Business, Praj Industries Limited was newly appointed as Dy.Chairman. It was also announced that Mr K. Nandakumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Chemtrols Industries Private Limited would continue his position as Dy. Chairman.
Mr. Bhuptani addressed the audience on this occasion and thanked all members for giving him the opportunity to be Chairman of PPMAI. He appreciated the excellent leadership provided by Mr. Anil Parab as Chairman for the past two years. Mr. Bhuptani during his speech mentioned about ‘V’ shape recovery of the economy after the pandemic and great business opportunities available for PPMAI members especially in sectors like Hydrocarbon, LNG, Chemical plants, Hydrogen and Renewable Energy space where India is investing heavily.
The meeting was concluded with very positive outlook of further strengthening the PPMAI as Association and its members.
